The Lord Provost of Edinburgh is being urged to put his civic cherished number plates up for sale. His registration number S0 could be worth over half a million pounds following the sale of S1 for ?370000.S0 id very unusual as registration numbers always start at 1 not zero and makes the number even more valuable. City officials said it was a crazy idea akin to him selling his chain of office.
